Music Mag

I have finished creating the front cover of my Music magazine, the mag is called 'Kraken' its is aimed at kids aged 14-21 for people that are into Rock, mostly concentrated on the Rock sub-genre Grindcore/Deathcore. For my research i have taken pictures of a few friends that are in a Deatcore band. Starting the coursework 12/11/09

Today was all about designing the magazine. I done research of School age appropriate magazines, to use as reference when i come to design my first magazine cover! I will be using PHOTOSHOP CS3 no matter what anyone says! (:

I will be starting my mazagine, i will be basing my magazine on photography in school.
i love photography so this would be a great way to incorporate my own ideas into the design :)

i have done alot of research looking into what other school magazines look like, i have looked at magazines such as Clair, Faze, teen vogue, elle girl, seventeen, cosmo girl, skateboarder and ride BMX. They are all aimed at teens from 14-18 subjects varing from Extreme sports to fashon to music...

i have designed my photography magazine cover and have posted an image of it below, i think its rather good, i used all resources to my advantage e.g. photoshop for image editing and indesign for the design of the magazine.
